Cellular Goods CEO and Chairman walks, Mike Edwards back to complete the circle of related party bollocks but SMTM

You just could not make this up. Mike Edwards and his business partner Jon Bixby owned 31% of Cellular Goods (CBX) at the time of its 5p IPO. Their vehicle Durban Holdings paid just 0.1p for nearly all of its stock and as the shares were David Beckham/disgraced Daily Mail pumped they started sell. Indeed they sold all their shares. Lovely jubbly for them.

Boris Johnson really is a deluded chancer telling obvious lies and with Ukrainian blood on his hands

In the spring of 2022 Ukraine and Russia were ready to start Turkey/Israeli brokered peace talks. But, facing the partygate crisis at home, Boris Johnson bullied Ukraine to fight on. Almost two years later the Ukrainians have lost nearly all of the meagre gains they made in the much vaunted 2023 “counter offensive.” And on all fronts Russia is now advancing, taking out the“fortresses” Bakhmut and Avdiivka and village after village across the line.  The gains are measured in hundreds of metres a day in each area where fighting is underway. They are not huge on a daily basis and each day sees body bags shipped home to both Kiev and to Moscow on a horrible scale. But Stevie Wonder can see that it is Russia that is advancing.  However…

Is anything at all in the Daily Mail true? Heroic Tim Martin of JD Wetherspoon hits out & I promise to buy a pint for Will Hutton

My good friend, our in-house Euro loon Jonathan Price is in a terrible state after I told him about my post Brexit experience at Athens airport late on Wednesday night. More on that later. But now there is some real angst for the poor man in the battle between two demons from the Eurosceptic right: the wretched Daily Mail and JD Wetherspoon (JDW) run by heroic freedom campaigner Tim Martin. The latter has lashed out at the former.

FinnCap – the legacy of MSM postergirl Sam Smith – truly dismal results ahead of Cenkos merger

IPO’d by Sam Smith, the woman celebrated by the sisterhood and woke media as the postergirl for feminists in the City, at 27p per share, shares in FinnCap (FCAP) are just 7.75p today after the publication of shockingly bad results for the year to March 31. Smith stepped down in September and within weeks there was an awful profits warning and the new CEO had to start slashing costs to survive. Then came a merger with also suffering Cenkos (CNKS), two drunks propping each other up. This is the legacy of Sam Smith, who told the Daily Mail she only stepped down to start getting some “how’s your father.” The reality is Smith fecked it up.

Secret Sauce, Ms I quit FinnCrap to get my Leg Over Sam Smith has a best selling book, STILL doesn't twig that sales are vanity

Sam Smith who, according to a fawning interview in the Daily Mail, quit as CEO of FinnCap (FCAP) in order to end her drought in the “How’s your father” department, has a new book out, The Secret Sauce, which she is plugging on LinkedIn as you can see below. The fawning comments from the sisterhood are truly nauseating, brace yourself and get a sick bag ready. They are in awe as to how Sam turned a £1m turnover per annum business into a £1 million sales per week firm. But hang on, sales are vanity…

Shameful: The Daily Mail delights in reporting almost 1000 Russian soldiers killed in one day

As always in commenting on events in Ukraine I have to flag up at the start that Russia was wrong to invade since in the current febrile atmosphere not doing so sees one branded a Putin apologist. And that means that you are questioned if you dare to challenge what is almost certainly fake news and, on this conflict, in Briitain, the Daily Mail is the biggest villain on that score.

The real reason Smug Sam Smith quit as FinnCap CEO was to get her end away...whatever

Pass the sick bag. You might think that Sam Smith opted to quit as boss of FinnCap (FCAP) the other day was because in the three and a half years since its IPO the shares have slumped by a third despite City advisers hauling in record fees for the past two years. But as the bear market growls it is a matter of when, not if, FinnCrap serves up a dire profits warning so it is better to walk now before the merde really hits the proverbial. But today’s Femail section of the appalling Daily Mail suggests there is a lot more to the story. For starters did you know that the firm Sam started was in the the FTSE 100?

No Stephen Glover, Lord Melyvn Bragg does not hide his bias on the BBC, it is in his DNA

In today’s Daily Mail Stephen Glover has penned an excellent piece on the flagrant bias of BBC Radio 4’s flagship Today show. I cannot argue with a word he says on that matter. Glover is prompted by Labour luvvie Lord Melvyn Bragg saying that more or less everything is wonderful about the State Funded fake news channel.  Glover says that Bragg himself producs excellent objective material on his “In Our Time” programme. I start the podcast with my torture in trying to transfer a pension from the Daily Mail to my SIPP. It got so surreal this week but I might be making, expensive, progress. Then I look at how we often jump to easy conclusions when a share price falls. I am guilty of one such lazy jump. I refer to Versarien (VRS) and UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) in this section. I also have questions for Versarien and its hapless Nomad Bobbie Hilliam of Quindell infamy about the recent spike in its share price. Then I look at Bidstack (BIDS) and investors in denial and finally at Ian Smith and MXC Capital (MXCP) which is leaving the AIM Casino which is NOT what it should do. Smith is in denial too.

I was delighted to see the loathsome Daily Mail cough up for its disgraceful slurs on the charming Mrs Trump. I urge you to join me in support of a free press: #BoycottLego and Buy The Daily Mail

Two years ago as I exposed Quindell, the biggest stockmarket fraud for 30 years, supporters of that company ran an organised campaign to get companies not to advertise on websites I ran - this one and ShareProphets.com. It is very easy to persuade companies that you speak for many if you are organised and vociferous and so British Airways, Waitrose, Hargreaves Lansdown and others told Google not to run their ads on our websites. Those backing the fraud, who also sent death threats while the company's expensive lawyers sent fascist lawyers letters threatening me with ruin, were more organised and vociferous than I could be and so they struck a blow against a free press.  That was a blow on behalf of criminals.

Today we learn that a group called Stop Funding Hate has bullied Lego into not advertising with the Daily Mail. The left hates

UK Judges want a free rein not a free press - be very scared

The Daily Mail's Disgusting racist slur on Vote Leave

In today's Mail on Sunday journalist Simon Walters produced what, he terms, a "candid" exclusive interview with Dodgy Dave Cameron in which lyin' Dave says absolutelty nothing new at all. But it is the front page splash from Mr Walters that shames his paper and shows that a panicking Remain Campaign will stoop to anything. The Mail claims Vote Leave has been "infiltrated" by Nazis.

Infiltration has a clear meaning in British politics. It means gaining membership in an organised and covert manner with a view to securing power. The Militant Tendency infiltrated Labour. On the other hand the Mail has manged to provide evidence that exactly seven nazis are handing out flyers for Vote Leave. it tops this up with a few quotes from a racist online chat room from Nazis who support Brexit.

I do not doubt for a second that the seven folk mentioned are loathsome racist and jew hating pigs. They are scum but to say that them handing out flyers, not setting policy, organising a campaign or anything close to having any power, just handing out leaflets is evidence of infiltration is laughable.

Apparently his cover was blown in 2006 but despite that he claims to know that:

ISIS is planning an attack on Britain (I think we all know that) in order to convince us to leave the EU and when we do the brothers in downtown Raqqa will be celebrating as this marks the start of the break up of Europe or, what Dean terms, the successor to the Roman Empire which fought Muslims for control between the 7th and 11th centuries.

I remember this market from my last stay in this neighbourhood three years ago but on the off chance that the lying hyena Jones was correct I feared empty stands. Au contraire.

Just look at the photos below taken at 9 AM GMT today. The stalls are heaving. This is not a 3rd world country facing starvation as the headline seeking jackal Jones suggests. And this is Athens. Out in the countryside they have always produced their own food.

Ms Jones you are a disgrace to our profession and your lies about mighty Hellas are shocking. Just fuck off back to London and do not come back.

A cautionary note – The Daily Mail is lying about Greece

I am horrified to see today’s Mail on Sunday spout complete lies about Greece. It saddens me that this paper pays folks like Liz Jones to write sensationalist crap.

We were both (apparently) at the same mass rally in Syntagma Square on Friday. I encountered nothing but calm and peace  and a duck among the 50,000 crowd. I did not feel threatened for a second. Liz Jones reports Police firing stun grenades and seems to have got into a bit of a state. There might be the odd hothead everywhere but the Oxi rally was call, determined and dignified.

Liz reports that the Oxi camp want to turn their backs on the Euro and EU. I wish. The Oxi camp want to say in the Euro but believe they can do that without austerity and with debt relief. I do not think Liz has been listening to anyone here.

Liz and her colleagues report that shops are running out of food. Sorry but, overwhelmingly, that is not true. That PM Alex Tspiras

AIM - The Crony Capitalists, the Press, the backslapping continues - I vomit

Rob Terry and his latest Quindell missive, the latest Sefton farce, the China frauds, the sheer level of mendacity, greed and corruption on the AIM casino is at a level which I cannot remember but the authorities do sod all and all the time the Private Investor gets screwed. This week AIM celebrated its 20th birthday and its allies in the crony capitalist cabal on Fleet Street lapped it up. I am sorry to say that my old pal Geoff Foster of the Daily Mail penned a vomit inducing piece HERE which needs "fisking"

How dare you attack a great British company with 4000 staff and £1 billion sales say Daily Mail Readers - BearCast Special

Daily Mail Readers are today lashing out at their paper for flagging up that Quindell (QPP) shareholders are signing up in droves to take a class action against the fraud and the fraudsters. This is a Great British Company, paying taxes, creating 4000 jobs and with £1 billion in sales they say. No it is not as I explain below & I speculate on how much Rob Terry and his henchmen have taken out of Quenron.

Quindell and Silverbeck Rymer - Oh how interesting

My attention is drawn to an article in the Daily Mail from 2011 which I suggest that all Quindell (QPP) followers might wish to consider. Back in June 2012 Quindell bought Silverbeck Rymer for £12 million in cash and 96.666667 million Quindell shares.

Video: Christopher Booker: The Margaret Thatcher I knew: nearly always right in the end

Christopher Booker founded Private Eye, was campaigning journalist of the year several times in the 1970s and as a columnist on the Sunday Telegraph and ( sometimes) on the Daily Mail he is a scourge of global warming nutters, the EU and all things that right thinking folks despise. He is also my uncle and godfather. And he knew the late Margaret Thatcher well. His speech at UK Investor Show on April 13 reflects on that and on Maggie’s U-Turns on Europe and on global warming as well as setting the record straight on her attitude to apartheid. It is a stormer.

Daily Mail & General Trust Trading Statement

The Daily Mail & General Trust (DMGT) has a place in my heart. I used to work for it ( on the Evening Standard), as a freelancer the Mail on Sunday allowed me to destroy a biotech company many years ago when other papers were not so brave and, above all, my family of deluded lefties hate it with a passion. And so it has to be worth supporting. But do the maths stack up from an investment rather than an emotional case? The company has today issued a trading statement covering the five months to the end of February. I think the word that I would use to describe it was “reassuring.”

The Daily Mail on wasted Nigerian Aid – it misses the real scandal

The Daily Mail has its knickers in a twist about how £230 million of taxpayers cash is being pissed away by DfiD on an education programme in Nigeria. The Mail is wrong. What needs to be asked is why we are giving cash at all to the world’s 8th largest exporter of crude oil.

But to humour the Mail it is perhaps noting the report of The Independent Commission on Aid Impact. The UK has poured £102million into education in ten of Nigeria’s 36 states during the last seven years, and is due to spend a further £126million by 2019. But the report found that a third of the eligible children – an estimated 3.7million – were still not in school, while those that were received little by way of education.

The Phony Phony Pharaoh and Sefton Resources

PrintTo give the Daily Mail credit it has now removed from its website the article suggesting that penny share dreadful oil producer and cash cow (for chairman Jim Ellerton but not for long suffering shareholders) Sefton Resources (LSE: SER) was producing 220 bopd from 20 wells on its Tapia field. We all know (and the Mail knows now as well) that the number is less than 100 bopd from a handful of wells. But the Mail has gone further.

Who is Playing the Press? Sefton and the Daily Mail

I have been a market reporter. I know how it works. Someone you know calls you with what seems like a good story. You run it. Your team is on the box that night. You file your article. Good job. But just occasionally you are being played. The question is by whom? And unless someone points out how you have been lied to you will trust that player again. So just to help Geoff Foster, the excellent market reporter at the Daily Mail: Geoff, my son, you were kippered yesterday on AIM listed penny dreadful oil stock Sefton Resources (LSE:SER). You may wish to put in a call today to see why.

Nazis on the March in Greece – Blame it on the Nobel Peace Prize Winner

Over the summer I flagged up to you here the rise of Greece’s Nazi Golden Dawn party. They really are a horrible bunch of folks who “make the BNP look like Julie Andrews” according to one academic quoted in today’s papers. Belatedly the deadwood press has picked up on what is happening. In a while it will work out who is to blame – the answer being the winner of the Nobel Peace prize, the Evil Empire itself.

In case you have forgotten who the fetching bird in this article is, she is Voula Papachristou, a triple jumper who was booted out of the Greek Olympic team this summer for making a racist joke on twitter. She should count her lucky stars. Had she made the tweet while at the Olympics in Britain 2012 she would have been arrested and banged up in Holloway for three months. Voula is perhaps not the brightest spark in the solar system but she is a supporter of Golden Dawn and after that incident became a pin-up girl across Greece.

And so I should spring to the defence of the Evil Empire (in part)

George Osborne Chancellor of the Exchequer - you are a Fraud

George Osborne is once again the hero of the Tory press. But the press has got it wrong. The man is a fraud and not a very nice one at that. The acclaim comes from his promise to slash welfare spending by £10 billion as part of his work to tackle the deficit. But there are just so many holes in this thesis that it is hard t know where to start.

Instinctively I winced as he heard the plans. Osborne is targeting groups that are unpopular.
